The 2023 Sustainable Development Report has just been released, showing the global shortcomings in working towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The report's author Sustainable Development Solutions Network have shed light on the lack of progress for every goal, saying "all of the SDGs are seriously off track."
Guillaume Lafortune, lead author of the report and vice president and head of the Paris office of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network, says that “We're at the risk of a lost decade for sustainable development.”
“There’s actually a risk that the gap between rich and poor countries on sustainable development might be bigger in 2030 than it was in 2015," he says.
