Volunteer Wellington invites you to a celebratory afternoon tea to acknowledge the significant contribution Wellington's volunteers make to creating a vibrant, resilient and most 'Liveable city in the World!' The theme this year is 'Volunteers Act First. Here. Everywhere.' recognising the efforts and positive solidarity of volunteers locally, nationally and internationally who answer calls in times of crisis, helping save lives today and supporting those who want to continue living their lives with dignity tomorrow.

Guest speakers Wellington Mayor Justin Lester and Graeme Brown, Disaster Management Officer with the NZ Red Cross will talk about the impact and difference volunteers make to the lives of people living in Wellington and elsewhere
