Rotary New Zealand World Community Service (RNZWCS Limited) www.rnzwcs.org was established to facilitate international aid and development activities funded by New Zealand donors.

RNZWCS partner with a wide range of Rotary associated humanitarian and development organisations, many in the South West Pacific, though partnerships have been established in Eswatini, Tanzania, Uganda, South Africa, India, Nepal and elsewhere.

International community service draws partners together from two or more countries to improve the wellbeing of communities through a particular activity. Collaboration across borders in harmony with localisation fosters good development practise. There is a great deal of skill and diplomacy required to ensure that activities are well managed and sustainable.

The role includes:

• Activity Concept, Design and Development
• Assessment of Activities, and/or Partners
• Attending Sector Meetings
• Capacity building inputs with partners
• Developing Activity Design documents for grant applications
• Developing Concept Notes for grant applications •
• Developing Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL) Frameworks
• Liaison with partners in concept development and design
• Liaison with volunteers and technical experts
• Organisational development and strategic planning
• Preparing reports on Activities for submission to donors
• Support of Activity implementation
• Visiting activities and international partners
