One year into CID’s Strategy 2023-2026, we are hitting the road to update members on progress to date and outline key priorities for the coming period.
The CID Strategic Plan 2023-2026 was adopted in June 2023 at Special General Meeting by an overwhelming majority of support from CID members.
This strategy has been developed with a longer-term vision to develop a strong, connected and able international development sector in Aotearoa New Zealand. It incorporates a strong focus on ensuring CID, and the sector, is sustainable and well-positioned to be leaders in development and humanitarian aid into the future.
For the first time in CID’s near 40 year history a fully costed budget was developed to support the delivery of CIDs ambitious 2023-2026 strategy.
CID executive and board members will be running three roadshow sessions across Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch (dates listed below) where we will present an update on the CID Strategic Plan 2023-2026 and outline progress to date. We will also discuss next steps and key priorities as we move into the next phase of implementation.
This strategy has focussed the work of CID for the past year and will shape our work for the next two years and beyond.
We would encourage you to attend one of these sessions and engage in the future of your sector.
Please note, ideally we will have CEO/Executive Director level or senior decision makers within your organisation attend these meetings.
Our board room venues are not large spaces so we would appreciate if members can aim to send 1x senior delegate from your organisation.
